Become a Reiki Practitioner

Reiki is a channel for healing energy and there are three levels of attunement ... the process which enable us to send healing to ourselves and others:

Reiki I - this is the first level and after the attunement process, you can receive and send healing to yourself and others. Practice builds the connection, which becomes stronger with time.

Reiki I enables you to heal yourself, your friends and your family for no fee.

Reiki II - The attunement process at this level heightens your connection with the healing energy thus it becomes more effective. It is generally accepted that there must be at least 6 months between Reiki I and Reiki II so that knowledge, experience and enthusiasm has had time to grow.

Reiki II means you are then insureable to be a Reiki Practitioner and charge for your healing services.

A Reiki II attunement also gives you the ability to send distance healing - i.e. to any place in time or any person without geographical restraints. For example, if you're nervous about exams or an appointment, you can send Reiki ahead so that the best possible outcome for you is intended.

Reiki Mastership - It is said that by the time you reach this stage Reiki has mastered you and with this comes an understanding of the entire concept. I guess it's for this reason that many Reiki Masters (myself included), did not set out with the intention of becoming a Reiki Master, but found that with time (in my case and that of my Reiki Master it was 6 years), becoming a Master felt the right thing to do. Living the Reiki ideals leads to a more peaceful existence and the more in tune you become, the more Reiki flows and the more people / living things you are able to assist.

Being a Reiki Master means that you are able to perform attunements for people who wish to start their journey with Reiki, and that you are responsible to them throughout this journey.
