Linda's Background ![]() Linda & Penny It's important that you trust anyone that you allow to treat your horse - your Vet, Farrier, Equine Dentist and indeed, Massage Therapist. I'd therefore like to introduce myself to you and in doing so, invite you to contact me for a chat about your horse. I've been riding since I was 4 years old and have always been surrounded by a host of creatures, my first horse being a palomino mare when i was a teenager and now my horse Penny (pictured). Having worked for blue chip companies in a commercial role in London throughout the 90's, I returned to country living here in north Essex. I took on a village pub which I ran for 5 1/2 years and during which time I passed NVQ Level 2 in Horse Care & Stable Management. There I met Penny and when she came up for sale, despite thinking it was a crazy idea, the bond we'd made meant I just had to buy her. For the most part we pefer hacking around the countryside enjoying what each season has to offer. An ever increasing interest in complimentary therapies drew me to Reiki, Equine Massage, Bach Flower Remedies and I'm currently studying Equine Aromatherapy and plan to do an Animal Communicator course in the near future to learn to focus something which happens occasionally. As i recognise the importance of treating the horse and rider partnership on a holistic basis i have also qualified in Indian Head Massage to lessen tension in the rider. |
